< I am afraid > 是抄襲遝是借莎翁之名 < I am afraid > that I am not that "I am"

莎士比亞承認模仿, 是最真誠的奉承,到底這句話是出自莎翁親筆,或是假藉莎翁之名,有待讀書自己考証。不過,莎翁留下相關的生活書信資料太少,坊間是有抄襲之言留傳。甚至大文豪,馬克·吐溫寫了不少考據文章,懷疑莎士比亞是否曾經真實的存在過。他曾說，莎士比亞是「這個星球上最著名的匿名人。」 有心人必己廣聞多閱, 自有定論, 筆者不再多做(網抄)贅述。歷史給我們留下了許多線索，表明第 17 代牛津伯爵（1550-1604 年）愛德華·德·維爾（Edward de Vere）以“威廉·莎士比亞”的筆名創作了戲劇和詩歌。History has left us with many clues that Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford (1550-1604), wrote plays and poetry under the pseudonym "William Shakespeare".多人認為，這些線索加在一起，就足以證明牛津是《哈姆雷特》、《李爾王》、《十四行詩》和其他傳統上被認為是來自斯特拉特福的人的作品的真正作者
