Sonnet 141 愛慾纏結 In faith I do not love thee with mine eyes  

(ababbbbbbbbbbb), 13 言 

In faith I do not love thee with mine eyes,     

我確實不是看你的外表而愛你， 

For they in thee a thousand errors note,        

眼中的你，是缺點 百出，令人嫌惡。 

But `tis my heart that loves what they despise,  

 我心中所愛，卻是眼裡輕蔑的妳， 

Who in despite of view is pleased to dote,      

 無論主觀如何，妳令我寵至肺腑。 

Nor are mine ears with thy tongue`s tune delighted, 

非妳舌尖之媚娛，在我耳中傾訴，

Nor tender feeling to base touches prone,         

亦非任憑姿意觸撫的柔肌嫩膚。 

Nor taste, nor smell, desire to be invited,     

非吻非啜亦，非與妳私約的渴慕， 

Any sensual feast with thee alone;              

更非任何與妳吟媾合聲之獨處。 

But my five wits, nor my five senses can         

我五官六腑，卻痴情的不由自主, 

Dissuade one foolish heart from serving thee,     

不聽使喚之心，己於裙擺下臣服。 

Who leaves unswayed the likeness of a man,         

你置一個堅定的大男人，徬惶無助， 

Thy proud heart`s slave and vassal wretch to be;   

在你淫威下，成了被擺佈的奴僕。

 (你驕傲的奴僕,成了被擺佈的俘虜)

Only my plague thus far I count my gain,       

至今得到的，只有揮不去的悲苦(果)， 

That she that makes me sin awards me pain.        

她陷我於核罪，還回賞了我痛楚。√

核罪 -- 原始之情慾之罪, 此處核有核心原始之意, 也有” 何罪” 的意思‧
