Thine eyes I love, and they, as pitying me,

第五句，MORNING 可能是mourning 的双關語，SUN 指眼睛，見SONNET 24、SONNET 49。第五句、第六句，no fear Shakespeare 譯文如下：And to tell the truth, the morning sun doesn' t look as good in the gray eastern sky。第六句，grey cheeks 在此翻譯成蒼黑的臉頰，指黑女士臉頰的較吻合全詩結尾的涵意。
莎翁十四行詩， 128 首以後，是為了一位膚黑女士而作；第十四句意指，面色非黑色就不算是美。第十二句，而你全身各部就充滿了憐憫。every parts 是包含著可透出情感的眼睛和內心，更包括了黑色的穿着、黑色皮膚；所以引出第十三句第十四句,，第十四句complexion 不一定要對上弟十三句的黑, 也可以指他的全部(every part)容顏表相‧神態.神情,,,,
