To me, fair friend, you never can be old,
我看好友，你永遠不會老逝(去)， 1
For as you were when first your eye I eyed,
因為你仍然像初次會面時， 1
Such seems your beauty still. Three winters cold
你美麗似乎依舊。三個寒冬
Have from the forests shook three summers' pride,
搖下森林三個盛暑的驕容

Three beauteous springs to yellow autumn turn'd
陽春美景三度轉變成秋景1
In process of the seasons have I seen,

Three April perfumes in three hot Junes burn'd,

Since first I saw you fresh, which yet are green.

在你小孩出生前，夏天己逝隕
第十句，figure 指錶面上的數字標記，此處比喻成身材形象。第十一、十二句，字面直譯： 你的甜美風韻，己悄然改變，
而我老眼朦朧，仍見你如故。
這首詩第十三第十四句按本譯文較能貫穿全詩的意思，混了三年沒有結果。自己老了，美女仍未孕。
第七句應該有些双關之意。六月與夏天在莎詩裡有陽壯之意，四月春天有少女的意境；六月貪婪的偷渡了四月三次。
第十三句，我驚恐害怕聽到你年長而未孕。此處以“微咎＂表示本詩主角，自忖三年內賣力不夠的意思。
第十四句 Ere you were born was beauty's summer dead. 小孩出生前，美俊的我己逝隕。
